A Convenient and Safe Solution for Catheter & Drainage Tube Management
Engineered to replace conventional Y-gauze, CATH DRESSING® POLY-O combines high-absorption hydrophilic polyurethane foam with an integrated securement design to protect patients and simplify clinical workflows.
Cross-Department Medical Applications
CATH DRESSING® is a highly versatile, multi-department medical device designed to manage a broad scope of post-surgical drains and catheters, including JP tubes, Hemovacs, Jackson-Pratt drains, G-tubes, CVCs, PCN lines, and PTBD/PTCBD lines.
Why Switch from Y-Gauze?
The Problem with Traditional Gauze: Conventional Y-gauze dressings can allow fluid pools to develop between the dressing and the wound. These pools are highly conducive to bacterial growth, causing wound infections and delaying the natural healing process.
The CATH DRESSING® Solution: Our occlusive polyurethane foam bandage manages moisture by absorbing limited wound exudate, keeping the area optimally moist without allowing dangerous liquid pools to form.

Step 1 - Prep the Dressing
Remove the integrated extra adhesive strip from the top section of the dressing package and set it aside for the final step.
Step 2 - Position Around the Tube
Using the pre-cut side slit and the adaptive 7-cutting center starburst, carefully guide and slide the dressing directly around the inserted catheter line.
Step 3 - Adhere to the Skin
Peel away the remaining protective release liner from the acrylic border and smoothly apply the dressing to the patient's skin, ensuring firm contact.
Step 4 - Lock the Seam
Take the extra adhesive strip removed in Step 1 and apply it directly over the open side seam to completely secure, close, and seal the entry pathway.
